In Voronezh on October 5, the results of the third regional architectural festival "Archidrom" were summed up. The declared theme - "Above the Ground", demanded that the participants implement their projects using the minimum surface of the earth: on trees, piles, ropes or in any other way. The participants were not limited in the choice of the functional accessory of the building: it could be a mini-hostel, a recreation area or even a planetarium. Mostly wooden boards and beams were used as building materials, as well as plexiglass, canvas and ropes. According to the organizers, not a single living tree was damaged during the construction.
Recall that the Voronezh festival has been held since 2012. Marina Molodykh, a postgraduate student at the Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, became one of the initiators and organizers of Archidrom. For the first festival, even at the stage of preliminary ideas, the organizers selected projects that could potentially be used in the improvement of the city: the organization of playgrounds, park areas, courtyards. After a rather successful start, another festival followed - the winter "Archidrom", the task of the participants of which was to come up with and build a park of architectural winter attractions. And finally, the festival, the results of which were summed up in early October, became the third in this list.
We publish eight projects, starting with the winning projects.
1st place. Eco planetarium
Team "Seventh Course"
Alexey Bobkov, Natalia Duplyakina, Anastasia Zherdeva, Anastasia Nechitaylenko, Anastasia Khartsyzova, Dmitry Alekseenko, Ilya Zagorsky, Anastasia Dymova, Ekaterina Tokmakova
The wooden eco-planetarium raises above the ground both literally and figuratively - according to the authors of the project, it should direct the thoughts of visitors to the stars. The inside of the structure is painted black, on top of which star dots are applied with fluorescent paint.
2nd place. Lamp
Modulor team
Roman Cherkashin, Ekaterina Shapovalova, Kirill Shubin, Vlad Melekhin, Stas Veshchikov, Dmitry Fominov, Sergey Boryakov, Elena Petrova, Karina Morenko, Olga Gladkikh, Anna Pitskaleva, Ekaterina Shemyakina, Maria Babeshko
"Lantern" is a mini-hostel with two "floors": on the first there is a gazebo, on the second there is a double room with a view of the stars. Such a house can be located anywhere, there is only one condition - three points of support are required. This object aroused great interest among the public and the jury: the largest cash costs, the longest work and the most pressing question: "Will the Flashlight be able to rise into the air and hold out on three cables fixed to the trees?"
3rd place. Nest
Team "PORAZNOMU"
Artem Kotov, Petr Gamayunov, Margarita Gadzhieva, Denis Evgrafov, Mikhail Sukovaty
According to the team members, an eco-house at a height of several meters can serve as a kind of chill-out. The fixing of the house is thought out so as not to damage the tree on which it hangs. The terrace is located around the trunk on ties that work like a collet, wrapping around the trunk like petals. Between the trunk and the tie-downs, there is rubber from old tires to prevent the tie-downs from digging into the wood.
Projects of other festival participants:
Hive
Team "Art On"
The space of the object is divided into children's and adult zones. The children's section contains playgrounds, equipment and a place for looking after children, while the adult section offers a quiet, quiet rest.
Space palette
Team "Dried apricots"
The gazebo is designed for recreation both in nature and in city parks. Used polycarbonate, wood, chipboard, plywood, colored film. At the festival, this is the only object in which color is applied so actively.
LeTatlin
The BAUHOUSE team
The architects decided to bring to life the project of the Soviet avant-garde architect Vladimir Tatlin, whose projects were often ahead of their time. The guys found the blueprints and made a reduced version of his ornithopter project. The object, in fact, does not carry a functional load - you cannot fly anywhere on it. But you can feel the atmosphere while being inside the LeTatlin project and wearing a flying helmet and goggles.
Pink floyd
Team "Pink Floyd"
The project is a wooden structure, to which swings are suspended at different levels. During the day, Pink Floyd is a playground or just a recreational space, and at night the object turns into a light installation.
Flying Dutchman
Elevator Team
The authors came up with a legend for their object: this is a pirate ship wrecked in the forest. From a functional point of view, the Flying Dutchman is an open space with an observation deck, a recreation area and a play area.
