The new project "ArchiSkola on Granatnoye" is organized by the Archstudio together with the SIA, and involves a series of lectures throughout the year for architects and designers on various topics. The event participants will meet with Italian, Dutch and other European architects and designers, new items in the furniture industry, original projects, and professional reflections on the development of interior design. Stories and master classes by specialists about completed projects in the industrial industry and interior design. The audience will have the opportunity to get advice and demonstrate their portfolio to the leading designers, architects and decorators announced in the program.
The first lecture in this series - "Venetian Traditions of Light Design in a Modern Perception" - was held on March 23 at the Central House of Artists within the framework of the "Light Architecture" festival. It was read by the Italian architect Giovanni Luca Ferreri, who flew to Moscow for the festival for just one day.
Many are familiar with the works of this designer and architect from the latest collections made in collaboration with the masters of the Arte Veneziana factory. The lecture was designed for 1.5 hours, but the story lasted for 2.5 hours.
The architect presented lamps designed by him, embodied in a variety of interiors. Analyzed the development of lighting devices throughout the more than a century of Venice history. Particular and interesting was that part of the lecture, where work was shown from a sketch and a drawing to a finished lamp, already placed in the interior; stage-by-stage production of parts of the chandelier and its transformation into a masterpiece of the Venetian "light object".
Modern lamps differ markedly from their predecessors, but the traditions of Venetian masters are clearly and naturally traced in all objects. Some lamps were made to order, according to Ferreri's drawings, and then the interior was made for them. The interplay and interweaving of light, shadows, shapes and colors create a harmonious atmosphere and mood of the space.
On March 27, the Central House of Artists hosted the closing ceremony of the Lighting Architecture festival, summing up the results and awarding the winners of the lighting projects review competition.
The Archstudio has established a special prize in the category "Architectural Light in Public Interiors" - the D'E-Light FLOS lamp (designed by Philippe Starck). The prize was awarded to architect Erik Valeev for the project Dominion, Harmony of Elements (architectural bureau iq Studio (iq Architecture Studio)).
