On November 22, on the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, an exhibition of works by the finalists of the PlatForma competition, organized by Project Baltia magazine and LSR Group, opened. The participants were tasked with designing a public transport stop for the Tsvetnoy Gorod residential complex. In total, 99 projects from young (up to 35 years old) authors from different countries were presented to the jury.
The works included in the short list meet the criteria of feasibility, functionality, and innovation as much as possible. The selection also took into account environmental friendliness and compliance with building codes.
Since the competition is anonymous, the names of the finalists are still unknown. They will be announced after summing up the results of the competition on November 29. The winners will receive cash prizes, and the best projects will form the basis for the creation of real bus stops in a new district of St. Petersburg.
