In Moscow, within the framework of the Moscow International Education Salon, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and with the participation of the International Association for Corporate Education, the V All-Russian Competition "Creating the Future" was held. ROCKWOOL, a manufacturer of heat and sound insulation made of non-combustible stone wool, took 1st place in the Business Partner nomination with the ROCKWOOL University project. Companies known for their activities in the field of corporate education - Rosatom, Russian Railways, Samsung Russia, RusHydro, LUKOIL - also competed for the award.
The goal of the annual “Creating the Future” competition is to encourage companies to work with educational organizations, personnel development projects, and career guidance programs for children and youth.
For the first time, ROCKWOOL participates in the competition with the ROCKWOOL University project. As part of the educational cluster, the company has been conducting free trainings on the installation of heat and sound insulation, as well as technical insulation and fire protection from non-combustible stone wool for everyone since 2009. This is the contribution of the company with many years of expertise to solving a number of the most important problems in the construction industry - reducing operating costs and increasing the period of maintenance-free operation of buildings, as well as the durability of buildings and structures, increasing their fire safety and acoustic comfort. Proven material handling techniques ensure the comfort of being in the facility and the safety of people, including fire safety.
ROCKWOOL University has already graduated more than 15,000 people, most of whom are partners who choose the company's products during construction.
