The space of the courtyard of the Baroque palace built in 1735 received a glass roof and facade, erected according to the design of Daniel Libeskind. He is also the architect of the new building of the Jewish Museum, which opened in 2001 and brought worldwide fame to its author.

Now this memorial and exhibition complex has been supplemented with a new multifunctional hall with an area of 670 sq. m.

The project was based on the idea of a Sukkah ("kushcha", "hut") - a temporary dwelling with a ceiling made of green branches, in which the Sukkot holiday - "Feast of Kushch", celebrated in memory of the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt, is supposed to be held.

The glass ceilings of the courtyard are supported by four steel pillars, shaped like a bunch of branches. The glass wall of the hall overlooks the park surrounding the museum building.

The new premises are planned to be used for various events - about 500 participants can freely accommodate there. It will also serve as an addition to the lobby to better manage people.
