The architect has been working on this structure for four years: Shackter turned to her back in 2004 when it came to a small building in Hoxton Square. But after the development of several variants of the project, the conditions changed: last spring, the gallery owner bought a plot of land adjacent to his own and significantly expanded the program of new construction: in addition to the actual exhibition halls, there should appear offices, eight apartments and a cafe - on a total area of 3000 sq. m.

Shackter hopes for the early approval of the project by the city authorities, especially since his gallery will most likely become the first Hadid building in London and in England in general. Its Olympic Aquatics Center will not be commissioned until 2011, and the new building of the Architectural Fund will not be built at all: this was announced in February this year.
