The new structure appeared in the courtyard of the Gammel-Hellerup Gymnasium, surrounded on four sides by Cypriot academic buildings of the 1950s. In order not to obstruct the view from their windows, the architects placed the hall 5 m below ground level, so only its hill-like roof rises above the surface of the courtyard.

The walls of the hall are made of concrete, and the entrance to it is a glazed pavilion with a grassy roof.

The unsupported 1100 m2 interior space serves as a sports and assembly hall and is covered with a roof made of laminated laminated veneer lumber. Outside, this roof is a "piece of furniture" for the recreation of schoolchildren. It is paneled with oak wood and has benches and round seats in white enamelled steel. The perimeter of the roof also acts as a bench.

The courtyard is illuminated by LED lamps installed under the benches, and solar collectors installed on the roofs of school buildings are responsible for heating the hall.

The project budget was DKK 50 million.
