The building is oriented towards the largest body of water in the country, located to the west of it, which has long become a popular holiday destination. The huge window of the living room faces there: according to the architect's plan, the whole large family of the owners of the villa should gather. This space is strikingly different in scale from the bedroom, alcoves and utility rooms located around the perimeter of the building. They can be either opened into the interior or fenced off with sliding doors.
The interior of the house, which is open to the outside, however, is opposed to the exterior in terms of color: the dark wood of the outer wall cladding contrasts with the white color of the premises. This "sterile" solution is due to the desire to turn the interior space into a "blank canvas" for natural light that changes depending on the time of day, season and weather.
