The complex of seven 3-4-storey buildings, five of which are occupied by various branches of the Abengoa company, previously located in different parts of the city, was planned taking into account the local climatic conditions. As in traditional Andalusian architecture, the buildings are compactly located, with small “patios”, recessed courtyards and terraces created between them. Thanks to this solution, open spaces can be used at any time of the year and in almost any weather.
It also saves the glazed surfaces of the facades from overheating, since the buildings cover each other from the sun. The color of the building is based on the colors of traditional Andalusian tiles: the lower surfaces of the glass blinds are painted with cobalt blue (their upper sides are left white to reflect the sun's rays), the external stairs are made yellow-green, and the individual facade panels are red.
