The complex consists of five volumes, different in area and function, and in the plan resembles an inverted letter C, the vertical "sticks" of which are brought out with a strong inclination to the left, and the semicircular entrance arch into the village acts as a "tail". Its main facade, of course, faces the Mashkinskoye Highway leading to Moscow, and from the side of the highway it is perceived as a very long line covered with an undulating roof. From the side of the village, the picture is completely different: from here you can see both side wings of the building, each of which has a stepped shape and, as a result, forms complex courtyards in terms of plan.

The core of the multifunctional volume will be the rhythmic gymnastics complex of the Russian Olympic team led by the famous coach Irina Viner. Visually it is easy to calculate it - it is a multi-lumen space under the steepest crest of the wave. The large-span hall is designed in accordance with international standards for two gymnastic mats (13 by 13 meters each), one of which is intended for training, and the other for the performances of athletes. The training area is separated from the spectacular curtain and also has a treadmill and platforms for gymnasts to warm up, while the performance hall is surrounded by stands for more than 500 visitors. Around the perimeter of the halls are office premises - coaches' rooms, medical rooms, locker rooms, etc. - and they themselves are thought out as universal spaces that can be used for any other events during the absence of competitions. It was for this purpose that the architects designed both the curtain and the stands to be transformable, and over the gymnastic carpets they applied the “markings” of the tennis courts. In the same volume, from the side of the village, there is a hotel for athletes, the administrative premises of the gymnastics center and a cafe-dining room, but the ceremonial lobby is shifted to the right, that is, closer to the center of the entire composition. In fact, the entrance to the complex is organized diagonally relative to its main volume, through a double-height glass gallery connecting the training center and the adjacent fitness club volume.

This crevice between two buildings not only marks the border between them and visually splits too long a volume, but also opens the veil of mystery over the inner-village life: through a transparent passage, residents of the Olympic Village will be able to see the highway, and drivers passing along it will catch a glimpse of its structure and landscape. A VIP tribune is suspended from the ceiling of the gallery on cables, intended for the most senior fans of rhythmic gymnastics. A spectacular staircase leads to it.

Thus, the central core of the complex is formed by sports institutions, with one of the buildings intended for professional athletes (present and future), and the second for fitness lovers who do not dream of a career as an Olympian, but want to keep fit. As for the other two functions that have made sport a close company, they are the educational center “Academy of Childhood”, which includes a kindergarten and a secondary school, and a low-rise gallery-type residential building. How the developer's plans grew in the process of working on this object can be most clearly seen by comparing the initial volume of the multifunctional complex and its latest reincarnation. And if two years ago Vladimir Bindeman designed only a kindergarten and the premises of the village administration as part of this object, now the kindergarten supplemented by the school cuts into the territory of the "Olympic Village" with a deep wedge, another wedge is formed by a residential building, and the village maintenance services are moved to the gallery. arch.

Four buildings of the training center are located with some displacement relative to each other, a kind of ladder, "steps" of which are narrow plates of vertical communications. Building number one, located under the undulating roof, is raised above the ground on massive supports, which allowed the architects to move the entrance area away from the highway. This volume is facing the track with a broken glass facade - supporting the theme of large-scale glazing set by the sports centers, the designers placed a school assembly hall in it. The side facades of the educational buildings, designed as inclined stained-glass windows made of colored glass, are also completely glazed. They are brought to a great height, since at the same time they serve as a parapet for playgrounds located on operated roofs. Needless to say, this is not the most traditional solution for a school building - a similar abundance of glass is inherent, rather, in office complexes - but the architects had no other way to comply with the lighting standards for classrooms. And in order to make light not only the premises for classes, but also recreation, each of the buildings is pierced with a light well - a glass cylinder with a diameter of 3 meters, inside which the architects plan to settle exotic plants and birds.

The buildings of a low-rise residential building are grouped in a similar "ladder". Only, unlike the educational center, there are no staircase halls separating them - on the contrary, all the buildings are strung on a single axis of the gallery leading to the central vestibule. Another difference with the neighboring wing is that the educational buildings are gradually lowering towards the village, while residential buildings, on the contrary, grow from three to six floors. And if the main volume of the multifunctional center is covered with a wide roof tape, whose wave-like movement unambiguously reminds of the most beautiful and romantic apparatus of rhythmic gymnastics, then the roofs of the residential sections, towering one above the other, are the same ribbon, but in motion, when you see it only for a fraction seconds and do not have time to realize where she will be in the next moment.

While working on this object, "Architecturium" has passed an ordeal with the versatility so fashionable today. It is hardly possible to imagine such a hybrid - a residential building, a sports and a regular school, a fitness center, a kindergarten, a restaurant and offices - in the city, but in the open spaces of the Moscow region it acquires every chance of existence. And the building, which is the result of close cooperation between architects and developers, promises to become not only comfortable, but also very attractive in appearance.
