The hotel belongs to the Mexican chain Grupo Habita, whose very first hotel, in Mexico City, belongs to the most striking buildings in Norten. In New York, scale and originality are muted: This is a relatively small 60-room establishment in the Chelsea area, next to the High Line Overpass Park. Outside, the facades are covered with a metal mesh, which should protect guests from views from the street; at the same time, she does not interfere with admiring the panoramas of the city, and even without getting out of bed: this is the layout of the rooms.

The tranquility of the hotel guests has become an important aspect of the project. Their rooms are separated from the lobby and the restaurant on the ground floor by a technical floor, which serves as an acoustic barrier. In addition, an elevator for restaurant visitors is located outside the street facade of the building, between the wall and the mesh screen. Thus, entertaining townspeople will be able to get to the cafe with a rooftop pool without getting into the residential part of the hotel (where there is a lift). At night, the shaft of the external elevator is illuminated; the windows of the rooms also create a glowing effect, the light from which filters the screen.

In the hotel's spaces, Norten's discreet architecture is complemented by the interior design of the French architect Arnaud Montigny.
