According to the project of this German workshop, an airport building has already been built there, but now we are talking about a courthouse and a police station. Both are located in the center of the village, which is now being actively developed: it began to play the role of a resort quite recently.
The police station reminds of the medieval stone towers characteristic of both Mestia and the entire Svaneti region. Large glazed openings should give the impression of transparency that is important for a government agency. The walls are made of prefabricated concrete structures with a uniform "rough" texture.
The courthouse, which also serves as a community center, also received large windows that were protected from the sun by external metal shutters. It was erected on the main square of Mestia, next to the new building of the City Hall.
