Yesterday in Kazan, the work of the MARSH Lab workshop "The best place in the city: from project to walk" was completed, the customer of which was the government of Tatarstan. The participants presented the final versions of their concepts for the creation of public zones in seven cities and towns of the republic.
Thirty young architects worked on projects under the guidance of tutors from 12 to 30 March. All the developed concepts will form the basis of working projects, which are planned to be implemented in the summer, and the workshop participants will become part of the project teams.
All seven concepts are presented below. ***
Rich subs. Morning humid air
Authors: Alexandra Perevalova, Anastasia Bubennova, Pavel Medvedev, Eduard Gubeev, Ildar Mirkhaziyanov, Alexandra Plotnikova
Tutors: Narine Tyutcheva, Anton Petukhov
Rich Saby is a small village with a population of about 8 thousand people, so it was not easy for the architects to design a park by the water here. The difficulty consisted, first of all, in fitting a rather large territory into the space of the village. In addition, it was necessary to show delicacy, given the format and way of life of small settlements.
Red key. Achkych bu Achkych
Authors: Ilya Berezin, Alisher Abdullaev, Emil Sirazetdinov, Alexey Arushanyan
Tutor: Svetlana Golovina
Krasny Klyuch is a small town, but its coastline has become one of the favorite vacation spots even for residents of neighboring cities. Since the demand for the territory is beyond doubt, the authors concentrated on improving the functional areas existing here. This will allow avoiding significant investments in large-scale reconstruction of the entire embankment, but at the same time providing interesting leisure and quality rest for the townspeople. The architects also tried to establish a connection between the city and the coastal zone.
Mamadysh
Authors: Aliya Fakhrutdinova, Ildar Biganyakov, Dima Mukhametov, Almaz Valiullin, Kamilla Minnulina, Lenar Khamitov, Ilya Fattakhov
Tutor: Yaroslav Kovalchuk
Mamadysh is a city located in a picturesque area. It is divided into two parts by the flowing river Oshma, across which there are no pedestrian bridges today. The authors propose to link the city into a single space by creating a park in the river floodplain. This park can become a place for holding big holidays and bring together residents of both banks.
Zain park
Authors: Khamid Taikenov, Raushan Shafigullin, Anna Fedorovich, Karina Davletianova, Alexey Karasev, Artem Stepanov, Marsel Kayumov
Tutors: Nikolay Lyzlov, Philip Yakubchuk
There is already a city park in Zainsk, and it is always full of visitors. However, the pedestrian and road bridges across the river divide the park into parts and separate it from other coastal areas, which could also be included in a common green urban framework. The project of the workshop participants just connects all these zones together and fills them with the necessary functionality.
Kukmor
Authors: Anna Kartavaya, Ekaterina Demina, Veronika Churakova, Leysan Yurtaeva, Artem Malykhin, Konstantin Samartsev
Tutor: Evgeniy Ass
The Nurminka River flows in Kukmor, the coastal territories of which have such a difficult relief that they are almost completely excluded from the urban space. Since the river bed is a protected natural area, the authors' project to create a park here is delicate and involves minimal interference. The architects developed a network of pedestrian routes along the river and proposed the creation of three functional zones - cultural, recreational and sports.
Mendeleevsk
Authors: Anna Gabbasova, Alexandra Kormushina, Maria Danilova, Rinat Garipov, Ildar Minemukhametov, Alina Akhmetova
Tutors: Oleg Shapiro, Marina Yarkina
The site chosen for the design in Mendeleevsk, at first glance, may seem unsuccessful - it seems to be located in a narrow mouth of an hourglass connecting two parts of the city, and is squeezed by industrial zones on both sides. However, according to the authors, this place has great potential, it can become actively visited and convenient for residents of any part of Mendeleevsk. And industrial aesthetics formed the basis for the originality of the project.
Muslyumovo. Traces of the future
Authors: Alexey Karlinsky, Taisiya Khalikova, Aigul Bulatova, Yulia Ustinova, Almaz Mugliev, Yulia Khairullina
Tutor: Konstantin Khodnev
The site for the future park in Muslyumovo is located at the very edge of the village, so the authors had a difficult task to attract people here, not counting on transit flows. The architects tried to create here the infrastructure necessary for local residents, as well as to make the park in the floodplain of the Ik River attractive for guests from nearby cities. The uniqueness of this place is ensured by an archaeological site, a unique landscape and a swan lake.
