On November 26, 2013, the Urban Awards 2013 ceremony was held at the prestigious Moscow Icon Hall club on Krasny Oktyabr. This year the Prize was awarded for the fifth time. Winner of the award in the category "Best Regional Residential Complex" became the residential complex "Kedrovy" in the city of Novosibirsk.
The settlement "Kedrovy" was designed according to the concept of "house in the park" - this was the task for architects and planners from ISK "Rus", which in Novosibirsk is known for its non-standard approach to construction.
The architecture of the village is modern: simple expressive geometric shapes, emphasized by harmoniously selected finishing materials in combination with glazed surfaces, most of all corresponds to the style of modern life. The concept "house in the park" involves the placement of residential houses-mini-quarters among the landscape area, smoothly flowing into the neighboring forest. Parking spaces are located under the objects. At the same time, courtyards remain for landscaping, landscaping, playgrounds. Townhouses also have their own cozy territory with fountains and ponds, and each apartment has a terrace. Sports and walking areas seem to have existed for a long time in open sunny meadows surrounded by spruce and birch trees.
The first stage of the village "Kedrovy", consisting of three-storey townhouses with an area of 200-230 m2 and 5-storey apartment buildings, is distinguished by the quality of construction and a high level of environmental zoning and improvement, thoughtfulness of all aspects of life. The second and third stages are being built up with mid-rise apartment buildings (up to 5 floors) with the creation of the same quality of the environment.
When erecting houses for the continental Siberian climate, a classic facade "warm" solution was used: brickwork with an inner layer of ROCKWOOL KAVITI BATTS insulation. KAVITI BATTS slabs are lightweight hydrophobized thermal insulation slabs made of stone wool based on basalt rocks, specially created and introduced into construction practice by Rockwool, primarily for the middle thermal insulation layer in three-layer external masonry walls. They are just as non-combustible as bricks, the thermal conductivity coefficient λ = 0.035-0.39 W / (m • K) allows to reduce the thickness of the brickwork and the cost of construction and installation works, and - most importantly - in case of Siberian temperature differences inside and outside the building - sharply to reduce the destruction of wall structures by placing a "dew point" inside the insulation layer. And the hydrophobization of the insulation fibers and the special design density of the KAVITI boards (45 kg / m³) allow residual condensation to be easily removed from the wall without damaging either the masonry itself or the insulation.
For a village with increased comfort, it should be noted the use of ROCKWOOL FLOR BATTS material for soundproofing floors in apartment buildings. FLOR BATTS boards are also non-flammable, have a certificate of hygienic compliance, are produced in different thicknesses with a density of 125 kg / m³ and allow you to get rid of impact and partly airborne noise.
