By the end of 2015, a grandiose project of a new business-class residential complex "Tricolor" will be implemented in the capital. Three high-rise residential buildings and an office building are located in the north-east of Moscow in the Rostokino district. The new complex is being built according to the author's architectural project of TPO "Reserve" by Vladimir Plotkin and is distinguished by a unique solution of the stylobate part, which repeats the terrain - a step increase, and at the same time is a multi-level parking lot. Innovative building materials have helped to make the houses modern, attractive and comfortable to live in. In particular, stone wool slabs from the ROCKWOOL company will provide effective insulation of the facades of all 1,249 apartments in the residential complex.
New apartment buildings are distinguished by high number of storeys: two towers with 46 floors, and one with 31 floors. Therefore, for insulation, it was necessary to find an effective material that is convenient for mounting at a height. At the same time, thermal insulation must be fireproof and create an optimal microclimate in apartments all year round (keep warm in winter and cool in summer).
Based on all the stated requirements, the developer preferred a two-layer solution of VENTI BATTS and VENTI BATTS N. slabs. They are made of stone wool, therefore the fibers of such insulation can withstand temperatures up to 10,000C, being a reliable barrier to the spread of fire. The natural origin of the insulation will also contribute to a favorable microclimate in the premises, and the chaotic arrangement of fibers in the slabs will help to provide effective sound insulation, which is important for buildings located near major highways. Undoubtedly, the Tricolor residential complex will become a new symbol of Mira Avenue - the legendary Moscow direction, on which such famous buildings of the Soviet era are located, such as VDNKh, the Cosmos Hotel, the Olympic Sports Complex, etc.
The ROCKWOOL CIS division is part of the ROCKWOOL Group of Companies - the world leader in stone wool solutions.
