The client of the project is the non-profit organization The Sydney Story Factory. The Martian Embassy is a hub for children's writing, and the theme of space and science fiction is designed to stimulate the child's imagination.
The interior decoration was created from 1068 pieces of plywood, cut by a computer-controlled machine. The resulting profiles play the role of seats, shelves, showcases, racks, visually uniting the space into a single whole. The edges of the profiles are painted with a poisonous green "Martian" paint.
The architects also thought out the "props" of the creative workshop: Martian passports and money, cans with gravity, sun cream with SPF5000 protection level and other "alien" goods.
