The new ceiling system is called Ecophon Master ™ Rigid. It was created on the basis of a thorough long-term study of the effect of acoustics of school premises on the educational process, on the health of students and teachers. This system has no analogues on the Russian market and opens up new opportunities for architects in the use of acoustic solutions in schools.
In addition to its excellent acoustic performance, Ecophon Master Rigid has another indispensable feature - a new damage-resistant coating that can withstand impacts and impacts from below. It is a multi-layer construction that is 10 times stronger than a standard ceiling panel, which, despite the harsh operating conditions typical for schools, will provide an attractive appearance of the ceiling for a long time. All Ecophon Master Rigid ceiling systems, including low frequency sound absorbing panels, are manufactured using the most modern fiberglass technology. Including those that make it possible to replace the standard petroleum-based binder with an environmentally friendly binder of plant origin.

Reinforced surface
Ecophon Master Rigid has a new damage resistant coating that can withstand impacts and impacts from below. The new surface is a multi-layer construction with a surface identical to Akutex FT in appearance, but 10 times stronger than the standard Akutex T. This makes Master Rigid ceilings impact-resistant, which was previously not possible.
Fixing the system
To withstand strong impact from below, it is important to ensure the strength of the harness. The panels are fixed in the Connect grid with retaining clips. Ecophon Master ™ Rigid ceilings are available in three edge options. Each ceiling tile can be dismantled from below, which ensures ease and safety of maintenance and operation.
Glass secondary processing and binders based on plant components
All Ecophon Master Rigid ceiling systems, including Ecophon Extra Bass, are manufactured using state-of-the-art fiberglass technology. So the 3RD technology, which combines at least 70% of recycled materials, makes it possible to replace the standard petroleum-based binder with a plant-based binder.
