A week ago, the results of the architectural rating of the Novosibirsk architectural festival "Golden Capital" were summed up. This year, the organizers have added three more types of judging to the traditional and most important professional jury of architects, which consists of the winners of the ranking of previous years:
- a business jury consisting of "suppliers and manufacturers of building materials and technologies";
- press jury;
- and the people's jury, which represents the results of personalized Internet voting (voting participants received special passwords).
However, not only the people's, but three other jury members voted via the Internet. “In this sense, we absolutely cannot influence the voting process. Then we just count the points”- this is how the organizers comment on the conditions of the rating to the press.
Ranking leader
The building that received the highest number of points in all voting was named the "Leader of the rating": it was the X-house in Barnaul from the bureau of Alexander Dering. The same house won the popular vote.
The Grand Prix
was awarded by a professional jury of architects, and it went to a block of residential buildings built in Tyumen by the Yekaterinburg bureau "OSA" by Stanislav Belykh.
Bureau "OSA" became the favorite of the rating. He received a gold diploma from a professional jury in the nomination "Archburo" and another one - a silver one, for the (equally high-rise) project of a residential area on ul. Mayakovsky in Yekaterinburg, included in the shortlist:
Golden heads
The Novosibirsk rating awards the projects that have received the highest score based on the results of the professional jury's voting with branded statuettes in the form of a golden head with an Ionic volute instead of an ear. This year they were awarded three. Two - to the already named Grand Prix winners and the leader of the rating (you can feel how the rating structure is growing and producing new layers of meanings that intersect with each other: a house in a pine forest has already received at least three awards. The awards are accumulating). The third statuette went to the project of a public center in Volgograd from the Modern Project bureau:

Gold diplomas
The next series of awards in the rating is gold diplomas, they are also awarded according to the number of points: less than for “heads”, but more than for silver diplomas given to those who were shortlisted. There are three of them:
