At the end of April, the winners of the Golden Capital architectural rating were announced in Novosibirsk, which has been held annually for more than 20 years as part of the festival of the same name. The works of architects and designers completed in the last two years are accepted for participation: projects and concepts, coursework and diploma studies, scientific developments. A feature of the rating is a multi-stage assessment system. This year 85 projects from 18 cities were submitted for participation. After consideration of the competition applications by the 1st level jury (diploma winners and laureates of the ranking of previous years), a short list of 35 finalists was formed. Further, the projects were evaluated by the owners of the Golden Capital Prize of previous years, then - by an expert jury, which included representatives of architectural publications, critics, organizers of competitions and festivals. Finally, the fourth "instance" is the "Hamburg score", where this season's nominees evaluate the work of their rivals.
Each of the finalist projects could claim several awards at once. Thus, the Khoroshevskaya gymnasium from A-Proekt. K became not only the owner of the grand prix, but also the leader in the rating in terms of the number of points scored, took the third place according to the jury of experts and the first - according to the “Hamburg score”.
The first and second places were awarded by the expert jury to a residential building on the banks of the Ob River by Cube Design and a multifunctional residential complex in Irkutsk (Megapolis bureau).
The Golden Capital award, in addition to the above-mentioned house on the Ob, was received by a cottage in the Novosibirsk village "Evropeyskiy" from "Cube Design".
