The interregional festival "DV Zodchestvo - 2013", which was held from 23 to 26 May 2013, has finished in Khabarovsk.
One of the important events of the festival was the International Conference “The Profession of an Architect. Time for Change”, organized by the“Ecophone (Saint-Gobain)”company, the Union of Architects of Russia and the Far Eastern Association of the SAR. It was held on the eve of the opening of the festival on May 22 in the Small Hall of the City Palace of Culture and became the second after the two-day conference of the same name, which took place on October 11-12, 2012 in Moscow before the VIII Congress of the SAR. As you know, all the materials of the October conference were published in a special issue of the journal "Architectural Bulletin" in # 1 (130) 2013.
More than 120 leading architects of the Far East from the Amur Region and Primorsky Territory, Kamchatka and the Jewish Autonomous Region, Sakhalin and Magadan Region, Khabarovsk Territory and Yakutia took part in the one-day conference in Khabarovsk.
The conference was opened by Chairman of the Council of the Far East of the Association of CAP Organizations, Vice-President of CAP Vladimir Vasiliev, First Vice-President of CAP, Honorary President of CMA Viktor Logvinov, Director of Business Units "EcoFon" (Russia, France, Sweden, Finland) Fredrik Jensen and Head of the Architecture Department and Urban Development of the Ministry of Construction of the Khabarovsk Territory Alexander Selemenev.
The Conference program included two thematic blocks “Legislation. Normative base. Legalization of projects "and" Architectural practice ".
On behalf of the Union of Architects of Russia, reports were prepared: on the Russian standard of professional activity of an architect and continuous architectural education - Vice-President of the Union of Architects Elena Bazhenova, on legislation in architectural activities and the role of the National Architectural Chamber - First Vice-President of the CAP Viktor Logvinov, on the legalization of projects and urban planning regulations - Chairman of the Anapa OSAR Yuri Rybin
The presentation of the Nikken Sekkei company from Japan became traditional, the chief planner of which, Ruishi Kizumi, made a presentation on the topic “The SMART CITY Concept”.
The company "Ecophone" represented by the director of the Russian team Konstantin Starobinsky and the director of business development Margarita Demidova spoke about the "green" standards in the design, construction and certification of facilities and about cooperation between architects and manufacturers of building materials. The report on how to make a business successful was read by Fredrik Jensen, director of business divisions at Ecophone (Russia, France, Sweden, Finland).
The conference ended with the presentation of certificates of professional development and a friendly dinner, where the participants in a friendly atmosphere discussed pressing issues and problems of architectural activity and its prospects after Russia's accession to the WTO.
According to the reviews of the architects who participated in the conference, the event was held at a high professional level in terms of the relevance of topics, the quality of reports, and technical support. Wishes were expressed to continue the work on organizing such events and useful advice on what topics need to be developed in more detail in the sections Legislation, Education and Architectural Practice.
