Having started its activity in 1994 with the production of cladding aluminum structures, Yukon Engineering has quickly captured the market. The analysis of German facade systems made it possible to identify those properties and characteristics that formed the basis of the U-kon aluminum substructure. Yukon Engineering is one of those companies whose policy is aimed both at improving its own system and at developing the IWF technology industry as a whole.
Over the years of development by the company
- received 5 Technical Certificates of the State Construction Committee of Russia: for cassette mounting method; on the visible method of fixing with porcelain stoneware slabs; on the hidden method of fastening with ceramic granite plates; on the sheet fastening method; for cladding with natural stone.
- over 20 systems developed with the possibility of using variable fastening methods for each type of cladding;
- created network of representative offices in Russia and CIS countries, Western Europe;
- creation own Science and Technology Center, participation in scientific research;
- active participation in the development of Technical Regulations for illegal armed groups; release of "ABC of ventilated facades".
For the period 1997-2012. in Russia and neighboring countries, more than 8,000,000 square meters of U-kon ventilated facades were installed
The aim of the architectural competition held by Yukon Engineering is to find out how successfully the architects managed to use the versatile possibilities of the U-KON structure to create facades of different scales.
46 objects were nominated for this year's competition, the lion's share of which were public and administrative buildings. The number of participants in the "youngest" nomination of the "Projects" award is steadily growing, which means more and more architectural firms are developing their projects, focusing on the U-kon system. And, of course, the alternative voting of the participants of the Ceremony for the honorary prize "Recognition of colleagues" has already become traditional.
This year, according to the results of the jury vote, GRAND PRIX of the Competition (nomination "Best Architectural Arrangement of the U-KON System") and a victory in the nomination "Residential houses and hotels" were awarded to the same object:
