Errors made at the design stage are almost impossible to correct. They can lead not only to a decrease in the durability and strength of the structure, but also affect the safety during the operation of the building. The responsibility for errors lies with the designers. To reduce the risks associated with the destruction of the roof, accurate calculation of the load - both snow and wind - will help. The manufacturer of stone wool solutions ROCKWOOL Russia offers a free service for calculating the number of fasteners for the ROCKROOF system, taking into account the wind load on the roof.
ROCKWOOL specialists, in cooperation with European colleagues, have introduced a new service for calculating the amount of fasteners based on wind loads in flat roof structures using the ROCKROOF system.
For the calculation, a modern software tool is used that allows you to determine the required number of attachment points for roofs of any complexity. Calculations are carried out according to the EN 1991-1-4 method based on data from wind regions of Russia in accordance with SP 20.13330.2011 “Loads and Impacts”.
The ROCKWOOL Russia company offers to take advantage of the free payment option. It is enough to send a request by e-mail to the ROCKWOOL Russia Design Center [email protected], indicating the location of the object (settlement and type of terrain: urban development, open space) and attaching a roof plan in pdf or dwg format.
