The Termoros company began 2013 with a new stage in its development, declaring its environmental responsibility. A cute green hedgehog was chosen as the eco-symbol of Termoros, which, as a symbol of nature, is now present on the company's logo.
At the 19th International General Construction Exhibition MosBuild 2013, Termoros was awarded the e3Awards International Environmental Prize in the Engineering Equipment category for the Low H2O heat exchanger for copper-aluminum convectors of the JAGA trademark. The e3 environmental label can only be awarded to products that have become nominated for the e3Awards International Environmental Award and have undergone rigorous expert evaluation.
Continuing the eco-policy, in June the first seminar on environmental development for company executives was held in the Moscow office of Termoros. The purpose of the seminar was defined as follows: the formation of a unified attitude of the company's employees to environmental responsibility. We decided to start with an awareness of personal tasks in this matter.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the magazine "Aquatherm" in the person of Sergei Trekhov, the publication "Green City" in the person of Asya Nazarova and the National Agency for Sustainable Development in the person of Svetlana Duvig.
In the first part of the seminar, Armine Malkhasyan, the head of the "Termoros" company eco-project, spoke about what has been done within the company today within the framework of the project. Her report contained theses on the relationship between the company's strategy and environmental responsibility, and presented the general concept of the direction.
Armine spoke about the actions and initiatives that the company has already managed to implement. This is participation in tree planting campaigns, organizing waste paper collection, joining a professional eco-community, obtaining an eco-label for products that Termoros represents, and so on. Termoros was especially proud of the fact that it received the E3 Awards Diploma for the low-inertia heat exchanger Low H2O from the Belgian manufacturer JAGA.
The seminar listeners learned about the passive house project developed by Termoros specialists, which will be presented at the company at the end of the first half of 2013.
In the second part of the seminar, an invited guest spoke - a trainer for an eco-friendly lifestyle, a consultant for green solutions for business, Roman Sablin. Roman is the author of The Green Driver. The Code for Green City Living and the popular green blog Living Green.
Roman shared his own experience of an environmentally friendly life, told what algorithms, instructions, Internet resources contribute to the gradual formation of an environmentally friendly consciousness and useful household habits. He told where to find healthy products, what safe detergents you can use, how to reduce the amount of garbage in your apartment and on the planet, how to live environmentally and economically.
Sustainable development of the Termoros company is the key to its confidence in the future. More recently, taking care of the environment seemed like a burdensome and risky undertaking. Today, more and more enterprises are considering environmental protection, resource conservation and environmental safety as tools for entering new markets and offering high-tech services.
Occupying a key position in the Russian heating market, the Termoros company considers an important stage in its activity to launch alternative energy and water treatment devices to the market, in which it sees a clean and safe future.
