- The designers were faced with the task of creating two arenas: a large one for 8-10 thousand fans and a small one with a rolling field, with a capacity of about 500 people. We tried not only to prepare for the championship, but also to ensure the active operation of the complex after its completion. It was also important to preserve the natural beauty of the construction site,”says Marat Grodnikov. - Before starting the design, we studied the experience of colleagues from Riga, Moscow and Yaroslavl, where we got acquainted with similar objects. In addition, we were constantly in search of the best materials and technical solutions, approached creatively and worked closely with the general contractor, thanks to which we managed to perform all the work in a technological, fast and economical manner.
This is how the concept of two drops was born, which formed the basis of the volumetric-spatial composition of the complex. Streamlined arenas - "drops" were built on the banks of the Chizhovskoye reservoir and harmoniously fit into the landscape, continuing the theme of water, air and light. Trendy aluminum and glass, which have become the main building materials, helped to realize the creative idea.
Brilliant performance
The glittering facades of both arenas are made on the basis of ALUTECH aluminum profile systems and are distinguished not only by their mirror-like splendor, but also by their high technical characteristics. Thanks to the post-transom system alt=F50, the resistance to heat transfer of both facades meets the increased requirements for thermal insulation and is 1 m2∙ С / W. The round shape of the arenas was created using ALT150 systems … It is used for hinged ventilated facades and allows you to fix tiles at an angle of 40 ° relative to each other. Both systems are corrosion resistant, easy to assemble and flexible.
The scale of the object is additionally emphasized by the decorative covers of the beams and posts. Resembling parallels and meridians, they make rounded buildings look like two globes. The arenas are interconnected by a kind of "meniscus" where the shopping arcade are located.
Around the entire perimeter of the small arena there is a balcony, from which a panorama of the complex and the reservoir opens. Both entrance groups of the balcony are made of window and door systems alt=W72 with 34 mm wide multi-chamber thermal break and additional insulating foam inserts. The system can accommodate infills up to 50 mm, which allows achieving thermal insulation of more than 1.0 m2∙ ° С / W and sound insulation up to 43 dB. The balcony is decorated with canopies that protect from precipitation, and also make the whole structure more rigid.

“The new complex has breathed life into an inconspicuous residential neighborhood,” notes Marat Grodnikov. - The complex has powerful potential: it combines administrative, sports, trade and cultural and entertainment functions, as well as related business. Here you can walk along the park along the reservoir and visit a restaurant, the infrastructure of children's recreation is developed.
In a couple of weeks, warm applause from the fans will fill both arenas. And then two "drops", like water, are transformed from the main building of the championship into a multifunctional complex, which will make the life of the microdistrict not only richer, but also more picturesque.

Light, airy and transparent
The Chizhovka-Arena complex includes a three-star hotel with a capacity of about 250 people. During its construction, ALUTECH aluminum profile systems were also used. Installation of 150 windows was carried out by specialists of the enterprise, which became the pioneer of stained glass in Belarus - JSC Montazhlegmash. Among the objects of the organization - GUM and TSUM in Minsk, the Youth Palace, the factories "Integral" and "Horizon".
