Today the territory of the island is used only for production purposes, but the city authorities are sure that it has a great untapped potential: public spaces, residential and office buildings may appear here. The competition will be held in two stages. At the first stage, the jury will analyze the ideas of all the contestants and make a shortlist of five works. At the second stage, the finalists will personally present their projects to the jury.

Your embankment at River Park

Against the Ebola virus
The public health group of the International Union of Architects announces a student competition to design a mobile station for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of the Ebola virus, as well as transporting patients to medical facilities. Such stations can also be used in the fight against other infectious diseases. The introduction of such solutions will allow to suppress the spread of viruses and provide timely assistance to infected people. The best projects will be shown at the annual UIA-PHG seminar, which will be held in May 2015 in China.
