The skyscraper was erected on the border of the historic center, where several public functions are concentrated at once and there are busy high-speed train and metro stations. The architect responded to this urban planning situation by creating public spaces at the bottom and top of the tower. On the lower level, there is a multifunctional conference room for 364 people: it can be converted into an exhibition or concert hall by changing, among other things, the location of the acoustic panels.

The end of the tower is more original, where a bioclimatic winter garden “greenhouse” with natural ventilation is arranged on three levels, which adjoins the restaurant, exhibition space and a roof terrace. Eucalyptus, inga, acacia, lavender and myrtle are planted there.

In addition, the city garden “Nicolo Groza”, which was originally located nearby, was completely renovated at the expense of Intesa Sanpaolo and is still accessible to all Turin residents: you can get there through the gallery leading through the lobby of the skyscraper.

The building is 166 meters high and consists of 38 above-ground floors. Below street level, there is a parking lot for 300 cars, technical rooms and an "in-depth" garden with a kindergarten and a cafeteria for employees overlooking there. 27 office floors with 3.2 m ceilings are designed for 2000 employees.

The skyscraper Intesa Sanpaolo is designed in light colors: white lacquered aluminum and milky glass should remind of the snow-capped alpine peaks clearly visible from its windows.

From the south, the skyscraper is completely covered with solar panels (total area 1600 m2); its interior is protected from the sun by movable blinds and double-glazed facades.
