The developers of the Velux company have changed the configuration of the Cabrio window-balcony to make life in the attic even more comfortable and pleasant.
The updated model is warmer thanks to the double-glazed unit and sleeker thanks to the updated design of the ventilation valve and outer linings. A new “royal” size (114 cm wide) has been added to the familiar model (94 x 252 cm), which allows two people to sit comfortably on the balcony.
The new argon-filled double-glazed unit provides additional protection against heat loss. Laminated internal glass ("triplex") gives increased strength to the glass unit. For an improved air ventilation system (up to 35 m3 / h), a vent valve has been designed, and the outer glass has an anti-dew coating and a self-cleaning coating.
The Velux GDL Cabrio window is suitable for roof slopes from 35 to 55 ° and can be installed like any other roof window. The window can be installed in combinations, allowing you to create a variety of interior and exterior solutions. In just a couple of seconds, the window transforms into a balcony, the attic fills with fresh air, and you can enjoy the beautiful landscape.
