Archstoyanie presented projects of six participants, whose installations will be shown at the festival from 22 to 24 July. We remind you that artists, architects and sculptors fantasize this year on the theme of "Shelter". We recently showed projects for three other objects that will appear this summer in Nikola-Lenivets: a comet, a homeless house and an inhabited sculpture.
Bridge
The bridge between the village of Zvizzhi and Nikola-Lenivets from the WOWHAUS bureau will not only connect the two banks above the swamp, but will also become a symbol of the proximity of people and the animal world - beavers who built a dam there. The knitted bridge will not disturb the natural environment, but will become a part of it. The metal parts will grow over time with mosses, grass and shrubs, and the flexibility of the design will allow it to adapt to changing swamp terrain.
Personal universe number 5
The sculptor Dmitry Zhukov created a space that wraps around its inhabitants and cuts them off from the outside world. Two people can be here at the same time. This is a kind of portal to the world, where everything unnecessary is cut off, and a person is left alone with his heart.
Cone
A one-story cone with a height of more than five meters - a project by Irina Korina and Ilya Voznesensky. The Shelter theme of the festival is highlighted by the metal skeleton of the structure and the use of defensive shields. Inside the cone, you can not only hide from the wind and other vagaries of nature, but also "escape" from external stimuli.
Hiking pagoda
The inspiration for the project was the ancient Chinese pagodas, which had a sacred meaning. The Walking Pagoda will be both a protector of the festival landscape and a refuge for body and spirit. Video mapping is projected onto the object, and in the dark it is illuminated by antennas painted with frescoes. Authors - Apollo Committee and Patkonen Projects.
Reflected. Controlled
Nail Gareev's project is a kind of psychological performance. The viewer enters a cage from the armature, where he encounters TV mirrors that broadcast world news channels. Observing the ideological information embedded in its reflection, it is difficult to separate it from reality, but this is the task.
Buried Gelendvagen
The authors of the object are Archpoint bureau. Mercedes Gelendvagen is buried in the ground along the roof and turned into a bunker. You can get inside through a hatch. You can start the car, listen to the radio here, and also treat yourself to dry rations. Grass has been planted on the roof for camouflage.
