The TATPROF company successfully produces aluminum profiles from alloys 6005A, 6061 and 6082 with enhanced mechanical properties - ultimate strength of more than 300 MPa, which will allow to withstand the required loads in operating structures, parts, etc. The required mechanical properties are achieved due to heat treatment, namely quenching using water-air cooling and subsequent artificial aging. The mechanical properties of the profiles depend on the technological modes of pressing, the type and modes of heat treatment. In production, heat-hardening aluminum alloys are used, which allow the hardening of profiles directly on the press.

The essence of hardening is as follows. At elevated temperatures, typical for each alloy, in the base metal of the alloy - in aluminum, alloying elements dissolve that strengthen it (copper, magnesium, zinc, etc.). The result is a so-called aluminum-based solid solution that is stronger than pure aluminum. If this solid solution is cooled slowly, then the strengthening elements will stand out from it, since their solubility in aluminum decreases with decreasing temperature and the alloy becomes soft and ductile. If the solid solution is cooled quickly, then the strengthening elements will not have time to stand out from it, and the alloy will have increased strength properties.

For this, the profile goes to the receiving table, in which the hardening device is located, where, by spraying water through the nozzles, the profile is hardened.

Pressing is carried out with the maximum permissible flow rates, which allows not only to ensure maximum productivity, but also to create the best temperature conditions necessary for effective hardening directly on the press table.

Profiles with improved mechanical properties are currently used in many products in which strength and reliability are important. One example is the use of such a profile for the manufacture of prefabricated stages and podiums. A lot of additional equipment (speakers, lighting equipment, etc.) is suspended on these stages and podiums, and they must withstand high loads for the safety of performers on stage.

The TATPROF company supplies its products throughout Russia and some CIS countries. The architectural systems TAPROF can be seen on the facades (and roofs) of the Primorsky Aquarium in Vladivostok, at the Big Ice Palace in Sochi and other Olympic venues, on high-rise buildings in Moscow, Kazan, St. Petersburg and other cities.
