Construction and finishing technologies in Russia are rapidly developing today. Materials with unique properties are entering the market, thanks to which fundamentally new energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable approaches to construction are being formed.
However, any innovation loses its meaning if you work with it "the old fashioned way". Unfamiliar, and sometimes expensive, building materials, due to ignorance or misunderstanding of the technologies for their application, frighten both competent craftsmen and experienced architects.
As a result, the quality of the objects and the reputation of the manufacturer suffer. Therefore, one of the priorities for their development, companies choose the formation of an environment of professionals who are able to correctly and fully use all the capabilities of their products.
In May of this year, the German concern DAW SE, one of the largest European manufacturers of paints and varnishes and building materials under the brands Caparol, Alpina, Disbon alsecco, etc., opened its first training center in Malino near Moscow - the CAPAROL Academy.
According to the owner and head of the company, Dr. Ralph Muryan, DAW SE currently offers the widest selection of quality products in the industry. But products can only be as good as they are applied correctly. Therefore, the main goals of the new enterprise are to promote the advancement of advanced construction technologies and the growth of the professionalism of Russian personnel.
The Academy provides seminar participants with a unique opportunity to personally test all kinds of materials, ask questions of interest to coaches and specialists, and thereby expand their professional skills. For this purpose, much attention in training is paid to practical exercises and "manual" work - working with paints, decorative coatings, polymer self-leveling floors and concrete protection, facade systems.
Almost 700 sq. m of area there are lecture halls and workshops for practical classes, ready to simultaneously accept about 70 listeners, at their disposal all the necessary equipment, visual samples, trial finishing materials and hundreds of square meters of mineral, concrete, wood and metal surfaces for various master classes.
In addition, the educational program includes regular seminars, conferences and training courses for other professional groups: architects, planners, designers, sales managers and material application consultants. The Academy will operate about 10
individual programs: facade, restoration work, decorative finishing, programs for low-rise buildings and large construction projects.
Importantly, training at the Academy is free. The company is interested in professionals working with the product. The concern's immediate plans are to attract from two to four thousand people a year to training. Students will be taught by specialists from both Russia and Germany. Anyone can sign up for classes by leaving a request on the company's website
