The 101 m high Breiavatnet Lanterna office tower (26 floors, total area - 18,170 m2) - one of the highest in the country - will appear at the station in the very center of Stavanger, the "oil capital" of Norway: the city is home to the headquarters of Statoil and others. institutions. The laconic crystalline form, the facades of glass and aluminum panels, while there are several green terraces on the upper floors: according to the authors, this is a clear reference to Scandinavian architecture, a simple and modern solution.
A new park, Tivoli, will be created next to the future skyscraper, and this neighborhood largely determined the construction program. Access to the first two - public - floors will be arranged from three sides at once. There will be a lobby with an amphitheater staircase, a cafe, a restaurant, a canteen for employees, halls for conferences and concerts, and exhibition spaces. In addition, the two upper tiers will also be open to the public, where conference rooms, restaurants, bars and simply rooms with views of the city and the fjord are planned.
Now, on the site of the future building, there is a church (built in the last third of the 20th century): in exchange for land, it will be allocated from the third to the fifth floors of the tower, and from the sixth to 24th floors will be occupied by offices for more than 1000 employees.
