As part of BATIMAT 2017, a large intersectoral forum was held with the participation of experts from various sectors of the economy. The event participants discussed Russian-German economic relations, talked about German investments in the Russian economy, and also talked about the prospects for POS lending in Russia, the importance of customer service and employee motivation for modern business. In conclusion, a friendly meeting with partners and friends of SIEGENIA in Russia took place. The organizer was the German concern SIEGENIA GRUPPE, which this year celebrated its 20th anniversary in Russia.
The business event was opened by Wieland Frank, owner and head of SIEGENIA GRUPPE, who spoke about the long and successful history of the company's development. Hans Diehl, head of the North-East division of SIEGENIA, has already spoken about the Russian office of the German company.
“Almost every fifth window installed in Russia is a window with SIEGENIA GRUPPE fittings, - notes Hans Diehl. - We are developing steadily in the Russian market, and this brings its natural result. Today the company's share in the market of translucent structures is 20.5-21.5%."
Also at the Forum were invited experts who announced the current and projected indicators of the Russian economy and the window industry.
Eduard Broyde, head of the corporate projects division of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, noted that in 2017 Russia is expected to see GDP growth of 0.9-1.5%. According to the expert, over the three quarters of 2016, German companies have invested more than 2 million euros in the Russian economy. “In 2017, the production index, retail turnover, per capita income will grow in Russia, the production index and the unemployment rate will decrease,” said Eduard Broyde. "According to the internal analysis of the Chamber of Commerce, aimed at studying the business climate in Russia in 2016, the country's economy will develop." Thus, 55% of respondents assess the state of their business in Russia as satisfactory, 91% of respondents are not going to reduce their business activity, 55% believe that the Russian economy will develop more positively than negatively, and 47% are confident that the number of employees their companies will only grow in the future.
Vladimir Borisenko, Director of the Consumer Lending Department at Home Credit Bank, told the event participants about the situation in the POS lending market (issuing loans for certain goods directly at retail outlets). The expert noted that at the moment the bank is the leader in the field of POS lending to individuals with a market share of more than 29%. “In 2016, Russia issued POS loans worth 307 billion rubles,” the expert said. - According to statistics, Russians most often borrow goods and services in such segments as: mobile communications, furniture, education, clothing, consumer electronics. In the window industry, the level of lending is very low and amounts to only 7%. The increase in the volume of "instant" POS-loans with a rational interest rate can increase not only the demand, but also the average check. " Among the market trends in 2017, the expert highlighted the growth of "onlineization" and the increase in the number of installments.
Vladislav Utenin, business coach, teacher, expert in the field of system support and development of business competencies, told the forum participants in detail about what gives business professional skills and what competencies are needed to achieve business objectives in modern economic conditions.
“Any company that is just entering the market should always ask itself a fairly simple question: who or what does the result depend on? I always tell my partners that business depends on the desire of a particular employee to work today or not, - says the expert.- We have been cooperating with SIEGENIA for 5 years, and in 2015 we realized that we need system support for key customers. We managed to introduce and apply in practice the tools that are already producing results today. We now have a unique practice in the window market thanks to the fruitful cooperation with the SIEGENIA team."
Vladislav Us, Chairman of the Association of Customer Experience Management Professionals, noted that 62% of B2B customers are ready to spend more money than usual if they like the work of customer service, 88% study customer service reviews before starting cooperation with one or more another company, and 66% of clients refuse to cooperate with a company that is unable to provide a decent service. The expert also spoke about his assessment of the project based on the SIEGENIA SYNERGY mobile application, which was also created to improve the quality of customer service. Vladislav Us believes that the program has a number of significant competitive advantages: mobility, integration of educational projects, the use of game mechanics, innovative pos-materials and a built-in motivation program with a flexible reward system.
Olga Ivanova, Head of Marketing at SIEGENIA, told the participants of the event about the SIEGENIA SYNERGY systematic sales development program in more detail. The system based on a unique mobile application is a program of motivation and development of competencies for its own retail and dealer network. The innovative project was implemented with the largest window manufacturers and suppliers in the Central and North-Western Federal Districts, including such well-known window companies as "Window Factory" and "Petersburg Windows". “We managed to effectively implement the SIEGENIA SYNERGY mobile application, which helped to increase sales of the premium product line by 25% in three months,” says Artem Agabekov, founder of the Window Factory.
“We are glad that such innovative products not only motivate our employees, but also allow us to exceed sales targets for the year,” says Daniel Paredes, founder of Windows of Petersburg. In total, 5 projects were implemented under the SIEGENIA SYNERGY program in 2016, with growth rates for the target product up to 40%.
