GRAPHISOFT® invites you to take part in an online lecture by Maxim Alexandrov, chief architect of the projects of the architectural bureau Sergei Skuratov.
In everyday work, an architect often has to create rather complex shapes in search of the best design solutions. Using the specialized algorithmic design software Rhinoceros, architects can “program” shapes of any complexity and analyze them. ARCHICAD allows you to send and receive generated geometry from Rhino with various model display options.
The lecture will consider the features of the exchange of models between ARCHICAD and Rhino using the add-on for ARCHICAD "Rhinoceros Import / Export Add-ons" and the plug-in for Rhino "Rhinoceros - GDL Converter". These tools will help to carry out direct exchange of models at a significantly higher quality level than using third-party file formats.
As an example of the use of extensions, the roof design of the Center for Rhythmic Gymnastics will be used. Irina Viner-Usmanova (CHG), created by the TPO PRIDE team.
