The new building is located in a prominent area - the corner of Paul Street and Leonard Streets, within the boundaries of the Shorditch Historical Protected Area. During the Second World War, the neighborhoods here were badly damaged by bombing, so only a part of the 19th century church, bordering on the construction of the Stiff + Trevillion bureau, remained, but even fragments of its walls have the status of a monument.
The architects included parts of this structure in their project: the historic yellow brick walls border the courtyard of the modern building, the facades of which are made of the same material. This is an intentional move, a tribute to the memory of the place, as well as the general solution of the five-story building, reminiscent of the composition and height of the industrial buildings of Shoreditch of the century before last.
In addition to housing and offices, on a total area of 4,028 m2 there are also cafes and shops on the ground floor. They face the street, while the premises at the back, courtyard facade can be used as an art gallery.
In memory of the bombing of World War II, architects created a "phoenix" from metal panels depicting parts of a destroyed church: this art object symbolizes the rebirth of Shorditch.
