BAU 2019, an exhibition of architectural solutions, building systems and materials, which takes place every two years and attracts about 250 thousand visitors from 45 countries, will be held at the Munich Trade Fair Center from 14 to 19 January.
3A COMPOSITES celebrates 50 years of ALUCOBOND technology this year® and will present several innovations at the exhibition. For example, in the ALUCOBOND collection® solid & metallic, new surfaces have been added: dark gray Basalt Gray and light gray Platinum Gray, as well as new warm shades: Atacama Bronze Metallic, Colorado Gold Metallic and Siena Copper Metallic.
Visitors can also appreciate the improved surfaces of ALUCOBOND® sparkling: the gloss level was lowered from high (75-99%) to medium (55-65%), due to which the sparkling effect is increased, and the vulnerability of the material during installation, on the contrary, decreased. This collection also features new colors: Cosmic Gray Metallic MG and Deep Blue Metallic MG.
In addition, the company will present technical developments: a new website, an interactive tool ALUCOBOND® Facademaker, which allows you to create a facade design in a few clicks, as well as the ALUCOBOND program® Designmaker is a tool with which architects and designers can overlay various graphic design templates on the building envelope and change the size and color of individual elements.
A part of the stand will be devoted to fire safety: specialists will talk about the various solutions that 3A Composites offers during reconstruction and new construction. Facade material ALUCOBOND® has been tested according to the EN 13501.1 "Reaction to fire" standard, which evaluates the safety of a material as part of a system solution.
At the exhibition, 3A Composites will be located in Hall B1, stand # 119.
