June 18, 2019 the grand opening of the new building of the Swiss Embassy in Russia took place. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis jointly held an official ceremony. It was attended by high-ranking representatives of the Russian parliament, federal agencies, political and business circles of Switzerland and Russia.
A building in the spirit of "Ticino tendenza", designed by the Swiss architectural bureau Brauen Waelchli Architectes, was presented to the public. The premises of the new building of the Embassy are equipped with Condair air humidification systems to maintain an optimal microclimate at the employees' workplaces. For the period of celebrations, we equipped the inner courtyard of the building around the perimeter with ML Flex and ML Solo nozzle humidification systems to cool the air in hot weather.
The right to cut one of the red satin ribbons in honor of the opening together with Yves Rossier, the ambassador of Switzerland to Russia, was shared by Elizaveta Likhacheva, director of the A. V. Shchusev, whose exhibits protect DefensorPH15 / 28 humidifiers from humidity fluctuations in the museum halls.
