Wienerberger AG acquired new production facilities by Daas Baksteen summer 2018. During 2018-2019. integration into the concern took place, and since August products under the Terca brand have been available for order in Russia.
We present to you 4 collections of Dutch bricks produced at the new Wienerberger sites in Zeddam and Winterswijk
The factories operate 3 production lines for the manufacture plastic bricks, hand-molded and Wasserstrich (structuring with water).
Behind the Zeddam factory is the largest park in the Netherlands with an area of 8 hectares with 36,000 solar panels. All the electricity generated there is used for brick production. After the extraction of clay reserves, the quarries are reclaimed into new green areas, where wetlands become a new natural space for flora and fauna.
De Waal collection: the story of a river
Hundreds of years along the riverbed and in the delta of the Waal River in the Netherlands produced bricks size 210x100x50 mm. Over time, these parameters have received the name Waal Format in honor of the largest Dutch waterway. This brick format is still unusual for Russia, but quite traditional for Europe and especially the Netherlands.
What are the advantages of the Waal Format? Such dimensions of bricks are more than comfortable and versatile for cladding facades of private houses and public facilities. They look especially advantageous in masonry on small buildings.
Natural motives can be traced in the colors of the De Waal collection. Deep earthy shades, wine, sandy gold and cold ash colors - the choice is truly wide.
Bricks show their character in peculiar texture … Visual and tactile surface irregularities are formed due to use of sea salt, which creates water-insoluble compounds during firing. Bluish streaks, uneven creases and veins on the surface of the bricks create an authentic look.
Falls collection: a waterfall in stone
Water is the backbone of the Falls collection. And this can be seen not only in the color scheme of the bricks, but also in the method of their production.
Thanks to Wasserstrich technology - structuring with water - brick from the collection Falls has an aged noble look … Its surface is smooth, but complex, filled with transitions, blotches, play of shades.
The collection contains more than 20 color palettes - from burgundy and deep midnight blue to golden orange and monochrome white interspersed with dark graphite gray or dazzling white.
The Fuss collection: discovering new facets
Fuss reversible collection allows you to embody any architectural ideas. One spoonful of brick is smoother, the second is textured. Their combination in the masonry creates a stunning volumetric surface effect.
In the collection of everything 7 warm shades, but each of them is striking in its originality - the color of dark and milk chocolate, fallen leaves and ivory.
A special charm is given by dark accents - heavily burnt fragments, chaotically scattered in the masonry. And indeed coal is added in the production of Fuss bricks, which, when fired, creates a similar effect.

The Vision collection pushes the boundaries of familiar reality thanks to the special shape of the brick, which allows you to create the illusion of endless masonry without mortar vertical joints.
