The fall semester at the Heritage School will continue with a meeting with the architect Andrey Anisimov. The lecture will focus on contemporary church architecture.
The key event of the week will be the Best Interior Festival, which will be held at the Central House of Artists from November 19 to 22. 13 Moscow architects and design bureaus will take part in the exhibition program. Also among the events of the festival: ARTBIF, exhibition and sale of art objects; Keep It Real, a pop-up exhibition of item and collectible design; exposition "Materials and Technologies"; curatorial projects; exhibition of works from the competition "Best Interior"; expert presentations, round tables, lectures and master classes.
A new short lecture cycle "Bins of the Motherland" will start at the Museum of Architecture on Thursday. Lecturer - Andrey Chekmarev, art critic, specialist in the history of Russian architecture and fine arts of the 18th - 19th centuries.
And on November 21, the Artplay design center will host the annual conference of the Moscow City Architecture Committee "Comfortable City". Among the speakers of the event: Sergey Kuznetsov, chief architect of Moscow; Tatiana Guk, Director of the Institute for the General Plan of Moscow; Dmitry Narinsky, Professor at the Higher School of Economics, Vice President of the Union of Architects of Russia; architects Timur Bashkaev, Alexander Skokan, Andrey Gnezdilov and others.
We also recommend paying attention to the Russian-German forum of creative industries ART-WERK, which will be held on November 21 and 22 at Winzavod. This year there will be a whole architectural block, within which participants will talk about sustainable architecture, the economic efficiency of construction projects, the rational use of space and the involvement of citizens and local communities in urban development projects.
