Before the construction of any object, preparatory work is carried out. One of the most important stages is earthworks. To ensure the strength and reliability of the structure, it is necessary to fix the soil masses. A common method for solving this problem is the use of special anchors. They will strengthen different types of soil, with the exception of

  • peat;
  • silt;
  • super-movable types of clays.

The low price of ground anchors allows using this method in the implementation of any project: residential buildings, enterprises, shopping centers, warehouses. Not only the foundation is strengthened, but the impact of forces on the foundation and the future cottage as a whole is prevented.

Features of the installation of anchor fasteners

Installation methods are selected taking into account the pre-selected type of fasteners. Most often in modern construction, the following methods of mounting fasteners are used:

  • clogging or twisting;
  • falling asleep;
  • installation by injection method.

The first method creates a near-root "bag" with a mixture of concrete. With the filling method, holes are made, which must be larger in diameter than the anchor rod. The hole is filled with a pre-prepared concrete mixture. Other well cavities are filled with sand or soil. The injection method is considered modern, which consists in feeding concrete into the soil layers under pressure. This is the fastest way to improve the quality of the soil.

Benefits of using ground anchors

The general advantages of ground anchors include:

  • high bearing capacity;
  • cost savings, since it is possible to abandon the concreting of the base;
  • preservation of natural soil and conservation of nature;
  • saving time in comparison with the device of a traditional foundation;
  • facilitation of construction and a general reduction in the value of the object.

The bearing capacity allows this method to be used in the construction of both small houses and summer cottages, as well as multi-storey cottages, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings. The bearing capacity is sufficient to support the structure, therefore it is not necessary to concrete the base. The preservation of the natural soil is due to the fact that when using anchors, it is not necessary to dig pits. This saves time and costs.
