The city of Lyantor is the center of an industrial oil and gas field, where the largest division of Surgutneftegas is based. Its population, about 40,000 people, is growing, the city is being built, although so far it consists of rather dull, albeit colorful, panel houses and shopping centers; it cannot be said that it is beautiful, but rather fresh and new. But, as they say, the nature here is exceptionally good: around there are glacial lakes, meander rivers (as well as swamps, mosquitoes and continental temperature drops). Recently, the city has been thinking about landscaping; in the summer, the embankment was opened, designed in the spirit of the surrounding buildings. In the same 2019, the architects of the Dmitrovka bureau were ordered a park on the southern border of the city, with an area of slightly less than 20 hectares, on the corner between the private sector and the district of two-story wooden barrack houses left over from the development of the deposit in the 1970s.
The territory is visible in its own way, there are swamps all around, and this place is dry, with sandy soil. It is overgrown with pine trees and trampled down by "paths", although rather dirt roads that make up a dense web-web. In general, it is obvious that the space still serves as a recreational space for city residents, but wild, unorganized.
The architects took a very natural path. They propose to preserve all trees - 100% of all trees growing on the territory, as well as the existing "road network" - both, which are quite present even now, become the main park, only the paths receive different paving: mostly gravel, wooden in the center, concrete along the contour.
Then, finding three main entrances, the authors divide the park into zones: recreational, thematic, ecological, and in the eastern part they "master" a small overgrown lake, turning it into the center of the zone of events and holidays, in winter - a skating rink.

The architects deliberately seize a part of the territory that was not allotted for the park: “… to show the possibility of the development of the entire green area, in particular, due to the additional involvement of local private business: this will give an impetus to the development of the place, include it in the general system of green spaces in the city, will help create new jobs, revitalize the surrounding areas."
Thus, the park provides for several "rental premises", along the perimeter and in the center, covered pavilions, which is important in a continental climate, sometimes hot or cold. The pavilions are adjacent to long benches and gazebos, as well as a pair of "view paths", elevated paths above the ground, allowing you to change the angle of view and look at the park from above. All this adds up to a system of dashed inclusions, mainly thin and curved elements that echo the contours of the general network, built into its multi-line logic.

The projects of pavilions, sheds and benches, according to the architects, are a matter of the future, as long as they are given in outline, only in order to outline their modern appearance.

Moreover, they are planned to be designed based on the wishes of local residents expressed at a seminar held in November 2019. Let's hope that neither an epidemic, but one family in Lyantor is now infected with Covid-19, nor a drop in oil prices will stop work, and the development of the park. so natural will continue.
