The leading brand and the largest manufacturer of decorative and finishing materials from ceramics KERAMA MARAZZI announces the start of a new Grand Prix competition for completed projects. Acceptance of works will last from August 17 to November 8, 2020. Professionals of interior design - designers and architects are traditionally invited to participate. The total prize fund of the competition in 2020 will be a record amount - 3,240,000 rubles! The laureates will be announced on December 10, 2020.
The competition, which will be held for the fourth time this year, has already become an important event among architects and designers. In the previous three seasons, participants from Russia and other countries sent almost a thousand works to the KERAMA MARAZZI Grand Prix, and the winners and prize-winners shared the prize fund of more than six million rubles.
The Grand Prix 2020 is designed to identify the best implemented author's projects, in which the decorative potential of KERAMA MARAZZI materials is maximally revealed - both in private and public interiors, and in architecture. As part of the jury, the work of the participants will be judged by Nikolai Lyzlov, architect, vice-president of the Union of Moscow Architects, professor of the International Academy of Architecture, teacher of the Moscow Architectural Institute at the Department of Urban Planning, and Alexander Dzhikia, professor at the School of Design, head of the Environmental Design direction at the Higher School of Economics and a member -correspondent of the Russian Academy of Arts.
The Grand Prix opens up new prospects for professional growth for individual designers and creative teams. The competition is widely covered on popular media resources, participants' works are published on the official instagram channel KERAMA MARAZZI, in corporate social networks and on the websites of media partners. This year, the Design Mate design portal will become the official media partner of the Grand Prix.
The nominations for the 2020 competition are presented in five categories: KERAMA MARAZZI materials in bathrooms, in residential interiors, in public interiors, in the hospitality industry and in infrastructure projects. The bathroom-only nomination is presented for the first time in the competition and involves a deep dive into the theme of ceramics and porcelain stoneware in wet areas.
A prerequisite for participation in the competition is the actual implementation of the project in the period from January 1, 2019 to November 8, 2020.
