Concrete has a reputation for being a harsh and durable material: buildings built from it can last for decades. Recently, however, its more "friendly" (and in an ecological sense, too) fellow, architectural concrete, has been gaining popularity in the architectural environment. This is one of the most flexible and malleable materials: in terms of its plastic properties, it can be compared to plasticine, while outwardly it is indistinguishable from natural stone. The potential of "decorative stone" is practically limitless: elements of building facades, landscapes and interiors are made from it.
Art-concrete allows you to create products of almost any shape and size, with different textures and colors - architects value it precisely for its rich “palette”. Execution options are limited only by imagination.
The color and texture at the stage of concrete creation can be "adjusted": the components are painted in bulk in any shade, and the final treatment - depending on the wishes of the customer - gives a polished or rough surface with varying degrees of exposure of the inner fraction.
In Russia, many people know how to produce serial products from "artificial stone", but few take on exclusive projects. The Moscow company Barka Construction, which has set up its own production, on the contrary, does not work with "circulations": for any project, the company produces "customized" formwork - and the result is always "piece goods".
The most demanding and discerning customers turn to the company for an "exclusive". Thus, PIK Group of Companies became one of the partners of Barka Construction. The residential complexes "Salaryevo Park", "Vlyublino", "Meshchersky Les", "Varshavskoe Shosse 141", "Western Port" have benches, retaining walls, tennis tables, interactive streams and other improvement elements made on Barka Construction machines according to drawings provided by GK PIK. Currently, installation work is underway on other projects of the developer.

One of the most recent - and most intense - projects in the portfolio of Moscow concrete workers is the Salyut children's playground located in Gorky Park. For the play area with an area of about 2 hectares (!) Barka Construction supplied long meandering benches framing the “ravine” playground and concrete ottomans in the shape of a polygon. The seats are covered with pine planks on top. The skeleton of a dinosaur, half hidden by the sand - the concrete animal has to be excavated by children by hand - as well as the "stone" path laid between the trees, Barka Construction developed in collaboration with the landscape bureau AFA. On the Salute site there are also “sea” attractions made of arhbeton, where children and adults can play with water. The embossed bottom, a well-thought-out system of channels and sluices, and all sorts of metal lever switches provide an exciting leisure for visitors of all ages.

Similar attractions are used at the Pyramid site in the Moscow residential complex Buninskie Luga and on the embankment of Lake Kaban in Kazan. The manufacture of concrete components required special precision, since it was necessary to take into account all the gaps and holes for fastening metal mechanisms. Otherwise, they just wouldn't get up.
It is safe to say that all of the above products will last a very long time: cast concrete is an extremely durable material in itself, resistant to moisture penetration and sudden changes in temperature, and adherence to pouring technologies by Barka Construction and the use of the latest reinforcement practices allows you to create elements with excellent characteristics.
