The jury met in Cologne under the chairmanship of Eberhard Tränkner, Honorary President of the Union of Architects of Germany. In total, eight gold medals, seven silver and seven bronze medals were awarded. A record number of architectural firms - 93 from 25 countries of the world - submitted applications for participation in the competitive selection.

Zenith de Rouen Stadium, Bernard Chumi (Paris)

At the same time, awards of the International Parolympic Committee were awarded for sports facilities designed for use by people with disabilities - seven facilities.

The official awards ceremony will take place on 26 October 2005 at the 19th Congress of the International Association of Sports and Leisure Facilities in Cologne (IAKS).
