The Beach Road ensemble will occupy an entire block in the city center. It will include a variety of public spaces and four skyscrapers arranged in pairs. To protect citizens from the bright sun and showers typical of the tropical climate of Singapore, new squares and squares between the buildings of the complex will be equipped with glass and steel ceilings in the form of wide ribbons. They will continue on the facades of the towers, playing the role of sun screens, which will also form the basis for "vertical landscaping".
The sloped forms of the new high-rise buildings also serve to move the masses of fresh air brought by the winds of the prevailing directions to ground level, for ventilation of spaces under glass canopies.
The complex will include office space, housing, shops, two luxury hotels and a railway interchange station.
