The authors of the project for the complex on the left bank of the Ishim River, near the new administrative center, are SA Architects, one of the city's leading architectural workshops.

The future ensemble consists of eleven residential towers with a height of 24 floors (a total of 1,650 apartments), located around the perimeter of the building plot. In the depths of the site there is a multi-storey parking lot for 1800 cars, surrounded by offices and shops.

The infrastructure of the territory of the new residential area includes sports facilities and playgrounds, walking alleys, a small pond. In the middle of the complex there is a kindergarten for 280 children. The total area of the new block is 255,000 sq. m.

The main problem that the architects faced when designing was, as always, the lack of territory (besides, we are designing in the steppe!). It was also required to give "Zhagalau-2" a unified and coherent architectural solution. Of course, the neighborhood of a large parking lot with housing is a controversial option, so the authors had to "encircle" it with public institutions.

The facades of the residential towers are distinguished by a bright color: they are divided diagonally into areas of contrasting colors. This technique allows the same rectangular volumes to be perceived as an integral living ensemble, without a feeling of monotony, at the same time, a common decorative motif visually unites all the residential towers of the complex. The architects' successes can also be attributed to an interesting landscape solution of the territory of the complex, turned into a full-fledged public space for the adjacent area of the city.

In general, the project is experimental for Astana, but, despite this, it takes into account all the existing urban "traditions" - urban planning, planning and climatic.
