Hall's LM Project is a new gateway for the Copenhagen harbor: two high-rise buildings, according to the architect, “shake hands” at the harbor entrance. The Langenlinie Tower at the docks of ocean liners follows the outline of the ship; its "nose" protrudes towards the sea; this terrace will house cafes and exhibition halls. The Marmormolen Tower faces the city, its open terrace is located on the roof of a large concert hall. Each of the buildings supports a cable-stayed pedestrian console bridge at a height of 65 m; they meet above the water at a slight angle.
The facades of the new office buildings will be covered with solar panels; their interior will be heated and cooled using seawater. It is also planned to make the most of natural light and ventilation. Wind turbines will be installed on the ceilings of pedestrian bridges.
The MVRDV project is more modest - their 116-meter tower for the Rødovre district is a variation of the “heavenly village” (this is what the architects called their project). The building consists of 60 m2 square modules. Depending on the market situation, they can be used for housing, as hotel rooms, and for placing offices: all these functions are included in the project and must be present in the building at a time, but their percentage can be changed. There will also be shops at the bottom of the building. A park will be built around and a new square will be built. Trees and flowers will be planted on the roofs of individual modules.
