T. n. The "horizontal skyscraper", the length of which is equal to the height of the "Empire State Building", is raised on 8 pillars above the green hilly landscape. The artificial hills hide a conference room, spa and garage, and the building itself houses the headquarters of the real estate company Vanke Co. Ltd, offices, lodging and hotel.

It was possible to place all functional areas in separate buildings by choosing the traditional way. But turning to the ideas of El Lissitzky and raising the building by 8 "legs", the Hall was able to open sea views from the windows of most rooms ("Vanke Center" reaches the maximum height allowed in this area of 35 m) and create a vast green space under the building, inspired by the works of Roberto Burle-Marx. Fully glazed blocks protrude from the "bottom" of the building - the "Shenzhen windows" from which open views of the new park below.

The structure's pillars are spaced up to 50 m apart, so its heavy-duty concrete frame is supported by a cable-stay system commonly used in bridge construction. As a result, the building must withstand even the tsunamis that are common in southern China.

The building complies with LEED platinum certification standards: it is cooled by special reservoirs filled with recycled water, solar panels are installed on the roof, and glass facades are covered with sun screens.
