One of the winners of the Zodchestvo-2012 international festival was the design of the architectural and artistic design of the southern portal of the railway tunnel No. 4 for the object “Combined (road and rail) road“Adler - mountain climatic resort “Alpika-service”. Construction and installation works and and co-design were carried out by GrandProjectCity LLC.
The team of authors of this design-installation - Saprichyan K. V. (head), Fedorov N. A. (GIP), Korenev I. V. (GAP), with the participation of A. R. Asadov received a silver diploma.
As we already wrote, the author's developments of this project are a continuation of the architectural and artistic solutions of the portals, laid down in the “Unified Concept for the Architectural Development of the Territory for the XXII Olympic Winter and XI Paralympic Games 2014. in Sochi.
The task is to create a bright, unique, memorable image of the entire complex of the combined road Adler-Alpika Service, for residents and guests of the city for many years. Portals should impress day and night, winter and summer.
Architects and customers managed to find an unusual solution to this problem, because almost always, the tunnel exits on the surface are formed in stone. The openwork "snow" lace made of elements of the "AluWALL System" will look especially impressive from the height of the planes arriving in Sochi, meeting and seeing off the guests of the city during the 2014 Olympics, and reminding not only of the summer, sea Sochi, but also of the snowy, winter one.
