The "New Hamburg Fair" is located not far from the city center, next to the TV tower, which, thanks to the arrangement of the adjacent territory, has now become available to the townspeople. The new complex consists of 7 exhibition pavilions with a total area of 87,000 m2 and 6,000 m2 of open space. The glazed "loggia" connects the buildings with each other and with the city space. This is also served by the division of buildings into separate sectors, corresponding in proportion to the surrounding buildings, as well as the use of mirror glass for curtain walls, which reflects the facades of adjacent structures.
The main task of the architect was to achieve maximum flexibility in the interior space of the pavilions, so a modular plan and movable partitions were used, which allows the exhibition space to be adapted to each specific task.
Light white painted pavilion frames convey the idea of lightness; all of them are designed to use natural ventilation, and energy savings will allow providing wide access to sunlight in the interiors.
