The new 7-storey building - the headquarters of Bouygues Immobilier - is part of the Galeo complex consisting of three buildings, the name of which comes from the French galet - "boulder". The three buildings are located according to Portzampark's beloved "open quarter" principle - when the buildings are not directly connected to each other, but still follow the traditional street line. The architect opposes this scheme both to the "Ottoman" apartment buildings, the uniform facades of which are stretched along the street, and behind them are hidden courtyards, and to the free layout, moving away from the "street" location of buildings.

The glass volume of Bouygues Immobilier differs from other Galeo buildings in the material of the façade. It also stands out for its "green" qualities: thanks to a well-thought-out design, it consumes 20% less energy than is provided in such cases by French law. The load-bearing facade of the building made of perforated concrete is sheathed with zinc, and outside it is surrounded by a double glass shell made of 700 "scales" measuring 3.45 m by 1.85 m. Thanks to this solution, the interior of the building is isolated from the environment, which significantly reduced the cost of cooling the premises (it is carried out using ceiling systems). Also, sensors are widely used - both weather and movement, which control lighting and blinds depending on the time of day, ambient temperature and the presence of people in the room.

The minimized number of partitions and supports allows sunlight to enter most of the interior spaces of the building, which also leads to energy savings. The hot water for the restaurant located in the complex is heated by solar panels.
